This page contains basically all the things I used to make this website.
Sadgirl is a brilliant resource if you know nothing about code like me. She puts things in a way that's super understandable for me.
HTML Dog is a commonly recomended site that I used to learn the basics of coding. I worked my way through the basic HTML course followed by the CSS one before going wild (your journey will probably look different)
W3Schools has a lot of easy definitions and quick tutorials that are nice. My super smart sister who does actual CompSci recignised it!
This Tumblr post is pretty basic but I like it as a reference and to calm myself down when I get imposter syndrome-y about coding.
This cheat sheet is super helpful if (like me) you have a bad memory - remeber coding isn't school there's no shame in getting help
I get most of my graphics from the public domain as well as PNG blogs on Tumblr (which is a great source for pretty web resources).
The Doll Archive is a super cool neocities page with lots of pixelart. I get my flower borders from them and have made heavy use of their conservatory page.
This is a nice straighforward directory of public domain images
Of course the Internet Archive is the coolest thing in the history of ever. It's got a lot of stuff but I sometimes find it hard to search through.
The wikimedia foundation has a ton of images that are free use and well organised (and you can help!)
